Press Release February 2009
Plant And Waste Recycling Show
15/16/17 June 2009 at Paignton, Torbay, Devon, UK
"The Show Must Go On" and "Visitors For
Exhibitors"
His Royal Highness Prince Charles has sent the Show his best
wishes and regrets that due to diary commitments he is unable to
attend with the Duchess of Cornwall but his personal message of
good wishes is due to his awareness and unwavering understanding of
the needs of the Planet and of waste recycling, renewable energies
and organic farming.
Many exhibitors are already aware Plant And Waste Recycling
Show Limited will be organising the new show in 2009 with fresh
blood, new ideas and international exhibitors mixing with the usual
band of loyal exhibitors at beautiful Paignton, Torbay, Devon, UK
and meeting and celebrating with old friends at The Inn on The
Green (Pub), so no need to worry about drinking and driving as it
is within 30 metres of the show ground and then walking distance to
your hotel.
The South West Recycling Forum of LARAC (Local Authority
Recycling Advisory Committee) will take place on 16 June 2009 at
The Palace Hotel, Paignton thus guaranteeing a large group of
quality visitors that will be wearing VIP Badges for our Show so
they are easily identifiable.
Our colleagues at Torbay Council are also ensuring that all
Local Authority Waste Recycling officers and all members of LARAC
are well aware that the "Show Goes On" and we are all concentrating
on getting "Visitors For Exhibitors"
This new show will bring out the best opportunities to do
business and networking in the most congenial of surroundings that
every exhibitor has come to know and love over the last 23 years of
visiting Paignton seafront overlooking Torbay.
Continue to book your hotels and make sure you tell all your
colleagues and business contacts that the new Plant And Waste
Recycling Show will take place on 15/16/17 June 2009 on Middle
Green and North Green overlooking beautiful Torbay at Paignton and
watch the waves roll in as the sunsets make you smile.
Meet with friends old and new and continue to support a
community that always likes to support us with good hotels, good
food, good service and plenty of time to work and unwind at your
own pace.
See the PAWRS website at www.pawrs.com
or www.plantandwasterecyclingshow.com
and do not hesitate to email us if you have any ideas that you feel
as an exhibitor will contribute to a great show in 2009.
When CIWM (Chartered Institute of Waste Management) decided in
May 2008 to pull out of Paignton they gave the Exhibitors and
Torbay Council 5 weeks notice of this and that was when Richard
Hunt and a group of colleagues decided that this was not acceptable
and that the "Show Must Go
On"
The Plant And Waste Recycling Show has created an enormous
marketing push that is both national and international in magazine
adverts, editorial and the world wide web through it’s own
website and through the Ecademy Business Network.
The Show is commited to getting "Visitors For Exhibitors" and has
dedicated it’s effort to ensure this occurs. There is space
available but dwindling fast so now is the time to book and be
there.
The venue has a waste recycling history of 23 years great
success, and in that time, people have built up good friendships
and contacts and have made friends with hotel and guest house
owners whose pricing is the most competitive in the country,
B&B from £20 per night. Also many visitors and friends
from Europe meet up in Paignton on the English Riviera.
This is the best Show for business and family networking where
business and pleasure can be one.
This Show is also very important to the local economy and the
members of the local council authority, its officers, the local
hoteliers and local Chamber of Commerce are committed to ensuring
Exhibitors And Visitors are made welcome.
Many people who attend this Show know that much business is done
over a pie and a pint and this is what the Show organisers
recognise in ensuring this venue does not die but lives on as "The Best Waste Recycling Show In The
West."
