The Company started back in 1991 with only a small fleet of both skips and skip vehicles and has now evolved into a fleet of 6 Skip vehicles 2 Roll on off vehicles 2 x 8 wheel tippers and 1x 8 wheel grab. We also operate a plant hire division consisting of a fully mobile 40 ton Apollo Concrete Crushers, Power Screeners, D5M (LGP) Dozer and 13,18 and 21ton Tracked Excavators.

We currently employ 26 people at our Main site in Hailsham East Sussex. We currently service over 800 account customers whom have a broad range of service requirements from basic skips to large muckaway and reinstament of recycled material projects.

We are currenlty in development in-relation to recycling hard riged plastics that the construction produce and already have success in the recycling of PVC windows and doors. We have purchased a 65ton baler inorder to assist with this program and avidly look for outlets that assist with our recycling ethos.

We are also the only plasterboard-recycling site in the region and since the legislation came into force we have recycled over 200 tons of plasterboard.

Haulaway Ltd has now developed a collection facility to collect Plasterboard Waste Streams from the Construction and Domestic Sector.

The Land Filling of gypsum-based waste, including Plasterboard is no longer viable or acceptable as of the 1st April 2009.

In-order to demonstrate recycling in accordance with Site Waste Management Plans and recycling/sustainability policies, which many of our customers are currently working towards, Haulaway Ltd can now offer an exclusive Recycling Service for all Plasterboard Waste products via the various Services that we operate.

We operate a fully enclosed Transfer Station with Trommel and picking station inorder to remove as much recycled materials as possible that enter the yard. At our transfer station we produce Crushed Concrete Topsoil and hardcore for the construction sector.

Based within our 20,000 sq ft Transfer Station is our state of the art Segregation & Recycling facility.
This facility has been individually designed by Haulaway Ltd to meet the demands that both the private and commercial sector would expect in relation to recycling and total waste management.

This Facility enables us to segregate waste materials into their recycling properties thus reducing the need to Landfill and also enables Haulaway Ltd to assist with the ever-increasing Landfill Tax.

Our System enables Haulaway Ltd to recycle over 75% of the waste received and intern produces products such as Crushed Concrete, Hardcore & Screened Soils which are available to collect or be delivered to your site projects. Various bodies such as WRAP and British Standards also recognize the products produced by this system.

This facility is available to all customers whom are registered Waste Carries with the Environment Agency.
