Dorset based Waste Monitoring Ltd has landed its first major contracts for their online Site Waste Management Plans software. Companies including Warings, Midas and Morgan Ashurst have taken on wastemonitoring.com to run their SWMPs.

Every time a waste container, such as a skip, is ordered, delivered or exchanged the system automatically logs the movement, records the data and, using the governments own conversion tables works out the weight and volume of the waste leaving the site. There only needs to be any human intervention on mixed waste in a container, but even then waste monitoring have come up with a clever solution. A simple list of possible waste streams is presented to the user and all they have to do is fill in what percentage of which waste stream was in the container.
